Dr. Henry Sachs is a Board-Certified Periodontist with a specialization in dental implants and the treatment of periodontal disease, utilizing both traditional and laser surgical techniques. He has received numerous recommendations for his expertise in the field and highly regarded in the community for the past 35 years. His practice focuses on the placement of dental implants, the treatment of periodontal disease, including traditional and laser surgery, and periodontal cosmetics. He is known for his sensitive, caring approach and ability to provide painless, high-quality treatment to all his patients.
His excellent academic background includes a DDS from Northwestern University, where he excelled in periodontics. Dr. Sachs has extensive proficiency in his specialty and treats his valued patients with the utmost care and expertise. He is also an avid reader and enjoys diversity in his subject matter. His communication skills include fluency in French and Spanish.
After completing dental school and a hospital residency, he was chosen for the coveted Periodontal Residency program at the University of Southern California, where he was also involved in periodontal research. Additionally, Dr. Sachs is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, and Long Island Academy of Periodontics.
He is on the board of directors of Nassau County Dental Society and is past chairman of the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting. For the past 16 years, Dr. Sachs has been the president and program director of the Greater South Bay Dental Study Club and has provided hundreds of hours of continuing education for dentists in the area.
Dr. Stacy Reisfeld
DMD
Dr. Stacy Reisfeld has been engaged in the practice of periodontics since 1990. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Subsequently, she completed her dental education at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1988. Dr. Reisfeld further advanced her expertise through specialty training at the Medical College of Virginia.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Reisfeld holds a faculty position at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and has been granted privileges at University Hospital at Stony Brook and Southampton Hospital. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Oral Medicine, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Suffolk County Dental Society, the New York County Dental Society, and the Northeast Society of Periodontics.
Dr. Reisfeld’s areas of expertise encompass general dentistry and oral surgery.
